
Prof. dr. Elvira Haezendonck is Assistant Professor at the University of Brussels (VUB) and at the University of Antwerp (UA). Her research covers various topics in the field of management, strategy and policy: environmental strategy, competition analysis, stakeholder management and transport management. She has been involved in a large number of national and EU research projects on for example long term strategy analyses for seaports, multinational strategies, strategy analysis for the logistics sector, (trans)port impact assessments, port strategy and transport infrastructure and policy. She teaches courses on Management, Competition Strategy, Port Management and Strategy and Corporate Social Responsibility and is currently guest lecturer at the University of Rotterdam (MEL) and at EUROMED Marseille (Maritime MBA). She has published various articles and books in these domains, with recently an Edward Elgar publication on Transport Project Evaluation: extending the cost-benefit analysis.
