Where to find your printouts

For printers on the campuses, the printed output can only be picked up at the same location of the printer itself.

For printouts on printers at the Computing Centre, printed output will be available in the dispatch room on the second floor at the Computing Centre for later pick-up by the user. Usual opening hours of the Computer Room are from 7:00 to 21:00 on weekdays (Monday to Friday). Extra closing dates and times are announced in our CCinfo service and included in this week's schedule below.

However, you can also have your output sent to you by internal mail. To indicate this, you may use the following lpr options:
        -C'cpnumber'    to  indicate  your  internal  postal  code  if
                        you  want  your  printed  output  to  be  sent
                        to you (Max. 16 characters).

        -J'name'        to have your name printed on the banner page 
                        (Max. 16 characters).

Examples:

$ lpr -Pquality -C"CP101" -J"myname" filename <CR>
$ lpr -Pquality -C"APNA - TW" -J"myname" filename <CR>

For specific problems related to the quality of printing, mail to the Operator, otherwise mail to User Support.
