the STIMULATE photo competition:The idea:
At the end of STIMULATE, participants can win a prize by submitting one or
several photos that they have made personally:
-
a (good) photo of some aspect of Belgium (without STIMULATE participants in the picture)
- a (good) group
photo of all the STIMULATE participants together.
Candidates can hand in their printed photographs in the STIMULATE-secretariat or
can send digital photos by electronic mail as attached files. The best picture
of each category is selected by the end of the course.
The results:
For the contest on a photo of some aspect of Belgium, we received only few
photos.
We would like to mention the simple but good photo made in Bruges sent to us by
Mendoza.
Not just one but even several good ones were made by Soto from Chile, but he has
sent them after the deadline. These are better than the ones we received before
the deadlines, but rules are rules.
In view of this situation we think that we should not name a winner this time
for this contest.
For the contest on photos regarding the international training program, we have
received some more photos.
The first photo received is good, but it was made by Sahdia, our
assistant for the program, and NOT by a participant.
A nice one was made by Soto, but again he has sent it after the deadline.
A good group picture was made in Leuven by Sainul, but he left earlier, just
before the end of the program.
As far as I understand, the best group photo that we received was not made by a
participant to the training program, but by an outsider!
In view of all this, we think that we should not name a winner this time for
this contest.
Not awarding the 2 prizes is of course not so pleasant.
In this way we save some money, as we do not spend it on prizes.
The good news is that we can have an extra drink during our farewell event
before your departure.
