Since 10 February 2009 the VUB offered off campus access to Jurisquare as a trial. Negociations to consolidate the external access have failed. Therefore Jurisquare can only be consulted on the campus from now on.

Article Database (ADB) is a huge interdisciplinary database containing descriptions of articles published since 1993 in +20,000 scientific periodicals. At this time the database contains 30 million article descriptions. The database is growing every night with some 8,000 articles.

JSTOR offers full text access to journals in several scientific disciplines. The organization digitizes articles from the first volume onwards. In agreement with the editors, the last volumes are not accessible. The collections Arts and Sciences I and Arts and Sciences II contain 243 journals in fifteen disciplines.

With V-spaces, the user can search multiple information resources simultaneously through a single interface and a single query. Search results are subsequently presented in a single, integrated, list. V-spaces also ensures that the search results are always up-to-date. In principle, the system does not create indexes of its own or maintain local copies of external databases. Search results are therefore as current as the information resources in which the records are found.

The option Google Books in V-link leads you to a lot of Internet information about the book you're looking for, e.g. reviews, a few full pages or even the text from the entire book. For instance find a book title in the VUBIS online catalogue and click the V-link button.
