Wim van Daele is part of the CLEA research group on ‘Self’ and Lifeworlds, which includes Nicole Note, Karen De Looze and Pieter Meurs.

Jan Broekaert is his CLEA-supervisor, whereas Koen Stroeken, Department of African languages and cultures, University of Ghent, and Peter Scholliers, Center of social and cultural food studies, and from the department of History, are his co-supervisors. Wim can draw upon support of various informal advisors as well, such as René Devisch, Olivier Servais, Tudor Silva, besides the generous advice received from the temporary supervisors from SOAS and University of Chicago.
