The International Quantum Structure Association (IQSA) is pleased to announce that the next Biennial IQSA Conference Quantum Structures'08 Brussels-Gdansk will take place in Sopot, Poland, a holiday resort close to the university of Gdansk, on July 6-12, 2008, and will be jointly organized by the University of Brussels (VUB) and the University of Gdansk.

Instructions for speakers

Abstracts, of one page length, must be prepared in LaTeX and submitted by e-mail to D. Aerts (see http://www.vub.ac.be/CLEA/aerts/ for e-mail address), with Cc to . A template can be downloaded here, and the resulting print should look (more or less) like this. In the latex-template we have included the possibility to mention acknowledgments.

The abstracts (including title, name, address, e-mail address) will be referred by the members of the Scientific Committee, and the authors are asked to indicate the length of the talk (general lectures are preferably surveys). The referees will make final decisions about acceptance, whether oral or poster presentation as well as the length of the talks. We recall that the acceptance of an abstract does not guarantee the acceptance of the paper in the Proceedings volume.

Deadline for abstracts: April 30th, 2008

Deadline for early registration and application for reduced price: April 15th, 2008.

Deadline for sending abstracts: April 30th, 2008.

Deadline for Hotel reservations: No strict deadline.
However, we have booked rooms in a student's dormitory for 70 participants only, and booking will be on a 'first come, first served' basis. Alternatively, there are several hotels in Sopot, but we recommend to book lodging in a hotel also as early as possible due to busy holiday season. See section Accommodation for more details.
