To join the EURO Working Group on Locational Analysis (EWGLA), we want to ask you three main questions, which are discussed in some more detail below.
  1. Do you want to be a member of EWGLA, and what are your personal data? The main advantage to a member is to receive EURO-Bulletin (which is partly our newsletter) and the announcements of our activities. To EWGLA it is important to have a large member list, since some EURO decisions concerning the Working Groups are partly based upon it.
  2. EWGLA also uses a mailinglist. The coordinator regularly sends mails, such as announcements and questions to all members affiliated to the mailinglist (formerly called listserver). Thus, second question: Do you want to join the EWGLA-mailinglist (listserver)? Of course in the affirmative your e-mail address is absolutely necessary!
  3. One of the items in these WWW pages is a member list. Since WWW data are publicly accessible, we face here a possible privacy problem. Thus, our third question is: Do you accept your name to be on the WWW-member list, and together with which personal data? Some people have a personal WWW-page and may wish a pointer to it to be included. If so, let us know.
Note that only EWGLA-members may appear on WWW as member, but they may decide not to.

Note that by international privacy rules (not applicable everywhere, but that doesn't matter to us) we need to have a signed statement on paper by each person involved, accepting its data to be put in our database and on WWW. Therefore you must use the following form (available in Plain ASCII text, PDF, MS Word, print it, fill it out, sign it and send it to us by normal mail at the address below. Do not use E-mail for this!
