Thomas Goossens

Thomas Goossens (1983) obtained a Master in History at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2007, defending a Master's thesis titled Dou best eenen slegte keerl: delinquent gedrag bij jongeren in Maastricht en omgeving, 1795-1830. He is preparing a Ph.D. on the networks of State and Finance (1670-1795), which is part of a VNC research project. His research focuses on interactions between military institutions, entrepreneurs, and the State in the Southern Netherlands. He is a member of the research group HOST.
