  • May 1995: Vice chairman of the Youth Union of the office of Vietnam's Government
  • 1996: Member of the Law Association of the office of the Vietnam's Goverrnment
  • June 1998: participated in the first meeting of the working group of experts on hydrographic data and information exchange, Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia
  • August 1998: member of the Vietnamese experts in negotiating delegation on the question of Paracels and Spratly archipelagoes (fourth round at Beijing, China)
  • May 1999: member of the provisional starring committee for policy-making on petroleum industry

The Ph.D. title is "The recent development in the Law of the Sea relating to transboundary fisheries regime and the regional cooperation to conserve and manage the marine fisheries resources - European and South China Sea area- comparative analysis" will be written under the supervision of Head supervisor prof. Dr. Erik Franckx (director of the Centre for International Law, Free University of Brussels)
