Rocco holds a Research Masters in political science and international relations (IEP-Paris) and graduated in international relations (University of Bologna). He has been visiting student at the University of Montreal and at the IEP in Lyon. After a trainee-experience at the European Parliament in the field of Justice and Home Affairs, he is currently researching data protection applied to security measures at both the Facultés universitaires Saint-Louis (FUSL) and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. At FUSL, he also works as assistant in international relations, political science and contemporary political issues ("liberties and securities"). He takes part in the organisation of the Computers, Privacy and Data Protection conferences (2009-2010) and the Celebrating European Privacy Day activities. His research interests are: European and international security policies based on data access, data protection and fundamental rights, the development of the European Area of Freedom, Security and Justice.
