Raphael holds a law degree from the Universite Libre de Bruxelles (2008), during the course of which he has been a visiting student at the university of Roma Tre (Rome). In 2009 he completed the European Master's Degree in Human Rights and Democratisation jointly organised by 41 European Universities, where he studied in Venice and at the University of Helsinki. After having undertaken a traineeship at the Human Rights Subcommittee of the European Parliament, he has now started a PhD at the LSTS, where he investigates the relationship between privacy, data protection and new technologies.
