Aaron Martin is a social scientist, an advocate, and occasionally a consultant. Since 2004 he has researched topics on privacy and information technology policy. He is currently completing a PhD in biometrics policy in the Information Systems and Innovation Group within the Department of Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He is also a post-doctoral researcher on the Security Impact Assessment Measures (SIAM) FP7 project, based at VUB. He studied philosophy and Arabic as an undergraduate (earning a BA from the George Washington University), and has an MSc in New Media, Information and Society from the LSE.
