Dear colleagues,
The European Association of Faculties has had his Annual conference in Lisbon (Portugal). From 23 to 25 June 2011, more than 150 participants from over 30 countries discussed a theme, which is very hot in the Schools of Pharmacy in Europe : "New roles for pharmacy and pharmacists in Europe : a challenge for education in pharmacy ". The content of the conference reflected perfectly what we had in mind and the organisation in the hands of Prof. Morais and its team was an example for each conference organiser.
On the last day of the conference, the closing meeting of PHARMINE was held. PHARMINE being the accronym of "Pharmacy Education in Europe", a project sponsored by the European Commission. More information on this project and the results of this project can be found on the PHARMINE website (www.pharmine.org ). You can dissiminate these results in your country, universities and Schools of Pharmacy.
Our next Annual conference will be in Utrecht (the Netherlands) in May 2012.
Below you can find the Powerpoint presentations of Lisbon 2011.
Yours sincerely,
Prof. Dr. Pharm. Bart Rombaut
