Abstract:
In 2000 the general report of the 1996-1998 round of surveys among Moroccan and Turkish men was finalised and published. This report contains 7 chapters by Interface Demography researchers. These pertain to general theories and findings about transnational Islamic communities, their religious orientations, their social integration and household patterns, the cultural integration and values patterning, their education, employment and unemployment, and the emergence of ethnic enterprises.
