Social Program
A Reception with a fine selection of Belgian cheeses and beers will be held on the first Conference Day (17/09) at the university (around 17:00).
The Conference Dinner will take place on the evening of the second Conference Day (18/09) in the city of Brussels.
Both Reception and Conference Dinner are included in the Conference fee.
There is a possibility for an Optional Tour of Brussels on Saturday the 20th of September (10:00-13:00). This tour is not included in the Conference fee. The cost of this tour will be around 10 euro (payable on the first Conference Day, September 17th).
This bus tour will show the wide variety of the different suburbs which determine the character of Brussels. Many of you probably only know Brussels as a conference city, as the capital of Europe, location of the European Community. This tour will also show you the historical center, the Royal quarter, the 'Art Nouveau' surroundings. It will tell you about the history of Brussels, its architectural richness and will refer to aspects of the daily and cultural life, the economical and political reality of the capital city of Belgium. A tour not to miss!
