Our vision on architecture education
At the Department of Architectural Engineering, we are the architectural engineers of tomorrow: creative, critical and technically trained designers who can operate in the fascinating but challenging construction sector.
Bachelor
The three-year bachelor's programme develops basic knowledge, skills and a conscious attitude among our students. Fundamental sciences, together with the theory and history of architecture, form the instruments of the future architectural engineer.

Master
In collaboration with the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), the department of Architectural Engineering offers a two-year international master's programme. The master's programme prepares students for a wide range of job opportunities.

Master thesis
The master thesis is the final part of the programme. Typical is the original and creative bringing together of knowledge and experiences in order to arrive at new knowledge and solutions. Each student chooses his own subject.

Studying abroad
As an architectural engineering student you can give your programme an international touch and study abroad for a few semesters. You can also do an internship in a foreign company, organisation or academic institution through the Erasmus+ programme.
