Short description
During two days, the objectives are to bring together researchers involved in biocarbonates studies, with a special emphasis for bivalves but also strongly open to other organisms (echinoderms, calcareous sponges, otoliths and other molluscs) around the general theme of “proxy incorporation and archive potential of biocarbonates”.
Around oral presentations, posters, round tables and open discussions, we want to highlight the recent and current works performed in the field of bio-carbonates using various approaches: chemical (conventional and new proxies), sclerochronological, biological and also modelling. It will be the opportunity to raise the debate on the archive potential and also to initiate collaboration for future projects.
