Farid Dahdouh-Guebas invited to prestigious Gordon Research Conference
Farid Dahdouh-Guebas, of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel's Biology
Department, was invited to attend one of the most prominent international
academic forums, the Gordon Research Conference on Past Ecosystem
Processes and Human-Environment Interactions (California), to give
a keynote presentation on mangrove research in the Biology department
at our university. Given that the Gordon Research Conferences clearly
operates a strict and elitist approach to attendance at each conference
(restricted to 135 world-wide experts), this invitation can certainly
be seen as recognition of the research work undertaken by Farid
and her team. ![]()
