General Spanish level 2 - semester 2
This course builds on the material covered in Spanish level 1.
The lessons are structured thematically, and offer the opportunity to practice the following language skills: listening; speaking; reading, writing, and spoken interaction.
By the end of the course, you should have reached level A2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFR): you should be able to understand sentences and frequently used expressions which are related to areas of immediate relevance (e.g. personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment). You should be able to communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. You should be able to describe in simple terms aspects of your background, the immediate environment and matters of immediate need.
At the end of the course, all the skills covered in this course will be evaluated.
This course is for VUB students who already have a basic level of Spanish (level A1).

This course builds on the material covered in Spanish level 1. Level A1 is required. Students who have not taken this course but who have some background knowledge of Spanish are required to take a level test.
Upon successful completion of this course, students receive a certificate from ACTO.
