Medical and Dental Consultation
The Medical Office is a primary health care centre accessible not only to students and personnel but also to people living in the neighbourhood of the university.
You can go to the Medical Office in cases of illness, accidents, for minor procedures, preventive examinations, vaccinations, contraception, dental care, wound care, travel advice, divers examination and advice on stopping with smoking.

Mental Health Care Centre
The University Centre for Mental Health Care (Dutch:”Centrum voor Geestelijke Gezondheidszorg”) is open to anyone who may be suffering from mental health problems.
The centre particularly aims to provide services to older adolescents and young adults. The staff consists of members with a multidisciplinary background: a psychiatrist, a psychologist, a social worker and a secretary.
The centre offers counselling, psychotherapeutic and psychiatric treatment. Consultations are held in Flemish, English or French. Appointments can be made by telephone or directly at the centre.
