Sports accomodation
Indoor
The VUB sports department has two large multipurpose sports halls (for indoor soccer, basketball, badminton, tennis, etc.); one martial arts hall; three squash courts and one climbing wall. All facilities are indoor and thus always available for rent.
Outdoor
Next to its indoor infrastructure, the VUB Sport Department also has outdoor sports fields, including one synthetic soccer field and a brand new athletics track and rugby pitch.
Swimming pool
A modern 25 m long swimming pool with changing rooms, sanitary and shower facilities.
HealthCity Fitness Centre
At campus Etterbeek a brand new fitness complex (HealthCity)opened in 2005. The complex consists of a 1,500 m² fitness and cardio area, a spinning studio, two large changing rooms, a relaxation area, a solarium and a dance hall.
