Young Researchers Meeting
30 November 2009
D1.02 – Promotiezaal
A small meeting of PhD students and young researchers within the Earth System Science is organised to provide an informal setting to interact about the various research themes. This meeting will offer an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with the people of ESSC.
The main focus for the meeting is to present interdisciplinary research crossing the borders of different research fields operative within ESSC.
The meeting will take place in Building D, room D1.02 (“promotiezaal”). We start at 13:30 sharp.
The afternoon will be divided in 3 sessions of 3 or 4 presentations. Each presentation takes about 10 minutes, with 5 minutes of discussion.
There is a light lunch for those who register. The lunch is at 12.30 in room 6F113 of the Geology Department (building F, 6th floor).
If we have missed someone in our mailing list or if you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Information for speakers
We will upload the presentations during the lunch. Concerning the presentation, we would like to remind you that each presentation should not exceed 10 min, followed by a discussion of ~ 5 min. In addition, we would like to mention that the audience consists of researchers of various scientific fields, so that the presentations should be on a general level.
