Introduction

 

This is a listing of ‘Tropical Coastal Ecosystems’ papers.  On one hand it deals with general issues of tropical coastal ecosystems, with a strong emphasis on mangrove forests.  Also relevant articles in vegetation science, remote sensing, data processing and statistics, of importance to the general study of coastal environments, have been included here.  On the other hand it contains publications on different aspects of the benthic macrofauna, with a strong emphasis on mangrove crabs.

This bibliography has been written and formatted as conform to international referencing as possible.  All journal names have been written in full.  Where the full name of a journal was not known with certainty, the abbreviated reference was written, whereas “unknown” is mentioned whenever the origin of a paper is not known.  The main author and publication formats have been illustrated underneath :
