Crab comes from sout-west Sri Lanka (Galle), in the wet climate zone, and seems to live on the drier and higher
parts in the mangrove (specimen was found on the edges of an earthen road through the mangroves). Ability to burrow was shown in the lab,
although seems to prefer to parasite on other burrows.
