Dear POCA 2008 participants,

It is almost one year that you all have presented an original paper at our POCA 2008conference at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium).
A few candidates are still waiting for their peer-review, but we would like to let you know, that we are working on this. Most of you however, have received their peer review. May we please ask you to amend your paper according to the comments of the referee.

We would like to inform you that we have a new deadline for submitting the final version of your paper to our POCA proceedings: Monday 30 November 2009. This means that by Monday 30 November, the CD-ROM with your manuscript should have arrived on the following address:

Your CD-ROM should contain the following components:

- text submitted in WORD; if you could not avoid using footnotes, please send these
as a separate document;
- when Arabic, Cuneiform, Egyptian, Hebrew texts occur in the manuscript, it is
necessary to include the relevant fonts compatible with WORD for Windows;
- a list of references/bibliography (WORD);
- each illustration as a separate document (TIFF, JPEG for photos and line drawings;
WORD for tables);
- a list of figures;
- caption texts (WORD) for all the figures;
- an abstract of 50-150 words;
- name of author(s), contact address, email address.:

We also would like to remind you the guidelines concerning paragraph layout, references (Harvard style), bibliography, footnotes, contractions, quotations, figures and tables. Please find these guidelines on our website.

Please acknowledge that we only accept papers conform these guidelines. For non-native speakers, it is important that your English text is corrected by a native speaker.
