About the VUB phonebook

Phonebook of the VUB (CCSO)

The electronic phonebook of the VUB is based on the BIPS database where personnel's and department's coordinates are kept. The data in the electronic phonebook is provided by the AIV (Administratieve Informatie Verwerking), and it contains (mostly) the same data as the paper version of BIPS which was distributed by the AIV.

The data in the electronic phonebook of the VUB corresponds to the data as currently stored in the BIPS database at the AIV. If your coordinates do not correspond to your current coordinates, please find the procedure on how to request changes in the Dutch version of this text.
Please make sure that you read the explanation of the different fields of the phonebook.

Since a short period, VUB members can register their email addresses or make a request for an email alias. For all details, see the email registration page.

At the present time, the data in the electronic phonebook is updated weekly, except for email addresses which are updated daily.

• the internal (snail)mail address (see below for an explanation)
• the campus
• the campusaddress
• the department (based on the post address !!)
• the email-address (registration)
