Wesley Lanckriet

Wesley Lanckriet obtained a Master in Architecture at KU Leuven, Faculty of Architecture (Ghent) and studied at the Bartlett University College in London.

After his studies he worked for international renowned architectural firms in Amsterdam such as SeARCH architects and UNStudio. As Senior architect he was responsible for different projects from residential to office buildings, theaters, museums, libraries, schools and infrastructure projects in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, South Korea, United States and Algeria. In 2014 he founded  U/Define architects in Bruges to finish the prestigious project Le Toison d’Or (Brussels) he started at UNStudio in 2009.

In 2017 Wesley Lanckriet joined the Transform Research Group as researcher within the project Buildings as Material banks (www.bamb2020.eu) and the Circular Retrofit Lab.
