In petrochemical industry, operations such as catalysis and separation of hydrocarbons are
often performed with zeolites and mesoporous materials where adsorption phenomena play
an important role. Thus, understanding the adsorption phenomena of the molecules inside
these synthetic materials becomes very important for process development and optimisation.
