PhD researcher Susan Dierickx talks about the impact of migration and globalization on harmful cultural practices among minority women in Belgium.

"How can we understand harmful cultural practices among migrant and minority women in Belgium? Based on anthropology and feminist ethical theory we aim to provide an understanding of the impact of  patterns of migration and globalization on harmful cultural practices. To explore the meanings given to harmful cultural practices and the lived experiences of migrant and minority women, we adopt a qualitative case study approach." Presentation by Susan Dierickx (PhD - RHEA). Bring your own lunch and we provide you with food for thought!
