Academic English 2 - semester 2
This course aims to help students who already have a good basis in English to further develop both their communicative ability and their general proficiency in English. The focus is on developing the skills needed to perform well in English in an academic context, with particular attention paid to reading more complex texts (articles, reports) and to oral expression, especially presentation skills. By the end of the course, students should be able to express themselves clearly and without difficulty in an academic context, and to follow more complex argumentation in written and spoken English.
This course is for VUB students a good basis in English and who would like to develop their (academic) English skills further.
