Sound methodological tools for researching female genital mutilation/cutting, adapted to local contexts, are crucial in providing reliable scientific evidence on what works and what doesn’t related to strategies to abandon FGM/C. The conference “Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting at the intersection of qualitative, quantitative and mixed method research – Experiences from Africa and Europe”,  will take place in Brussels, on June 8 and 9, 2017.
