The research carried out at the department of architectural engineering is brought together in the research group 'Architectural Engineering' which consists of an interdisciplinary team that uses engineering tools to create and study architecture. Through our expertise, we are resolutely committed to developing and valorising new knowledge for an innovative, qualitative, sustainable built environment. Stimulated by insights from history and using new technologies, we tackle the complex sustainability challenges for the built environment.
